Role Overview
As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you will take ownership of our core Next.js 16 App Router systems, Supabase edge database sharding, and real-time synchronization services. You will work directly with founders to keep API response times under 100ms across thousands of concurrent student sessions.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect resilient Next.js App Router applications with Server Components and optimistic UI mutations
- Design and optimize Postgres database schemas, Row Level Security (RLS) policies, and edge functions
- Build institutional admin dashboards with multi-tenant licensing and real-time attendance telemetry
- Maintain rigorous unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites
Qualifications & Mindset
- 2+ years of production experience with TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres / Supabase
- Solid grasp of web performance, caching strategies, and security best practices
- Experience with WebSocket / real-time synchronization is a strong plus
- Pragmatic problem solver with a passion for clean, maintainable architecture
